Conjure Is Shutting Down


Summary

Conjure is shutting down on 31 January 2025. The service will continue to be accessible until then, however we strongly encourage you to begin migrating to another service and to export your data as soon as possible.

All subscription renewals have been disabled, and monthly paid subscribers can expect their plan to expire as of their next renewal date, before the end of January. Annual paid subscribers will receive a prorated refund for unused time dated as of the shutdown date (31 January 2025). All current paid subscribers (both monthly and annual) will retain their subscription benefits until the shutdown date, even if their plan was due to expire before then.

It's with a heavy heart that we share news that Conjure will be sunset and shut down on 31 January 2025.

The decision to shut down did not come lightly, however after four years of serving a small, passionate group of users, Conjure failed to gain sufficient traction that would allow us to continue to develop and operate it.

Below are some FAQs that contain more detailed information about what to expect and when, including the processing of prorated refunds for current annual paid subscribers.

The Conjure service and limited support will continue to be available until the shutdown date, however we encourage all users to promptly take action to export their data, as it will not be possible to do so after 31 January 2025.

How do I export my data and delete my account?

You can export your data here. Exported data comes in both CSV and JSON formats.

After exporting your data, or if you aren't interested in first exporting your data, you can delete your account here.

We would appreciate if you could export your data and afterward delete your account at your earliest convenience.


What happens between now and shutdown?

Conjure will continue to operate as normal for all current and past paid subscribers, and active free plan users (those who have logged an entry within the past 90 days). For inactive free plan users (those who have not logged an entry within the past 90 days), the service will be available in a read-only state. New user signups, plan changes, and app downloads have been disabled. As stated above, we strongly encourage you to migrate to another service and export your data in advance of the 31 January 2025 shutdown date.


What will happen to my subscription?

All current paid subscription renewals have been disabled, meaning your subscription will not renew again if its renewal date falls between now and the shutdown date.

All users with existing paid subscriptions will maintain their subscription benefits until the shutdown date, including those with subscriptions that were due to renew or end between now and the shutdown date.


Information for annual subscribers with renewal or end dates that fall after the shutdown date

Current annual paid subscribers will receive a prorated refund for any unused time, dated as of the shutdown date (31 January 2025). These refunds will begin processing on the shutdown date, and we expect them to be issued within 1-4 weeks depending on which payment platform you used to subscribe.

If you subscribed to Conjure via Stripe using a credit card, refunds will be issued to your original payment method. We ask that you please allow approximately 5-10 business days for these refunds to process.

If you subscribed to Conjure via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, refunds will be issued by the respective app store. Please allow approximately 2-4 weeks for these refunds to process.


What happens on January 31st?

Conjure will fully and permanently shut down across all platforms, and cease to be available on the web, through its apps, or via its API. You will not be able to log in and view or export any data following shutdown, so please be sure to do so in advance of 31 January 2025.


What will happen to my data?

User data will be timely deleted following Conjure's shutdown on 31 January 2025. It is imperative that you export your data prior to the shutdown date, as doing so after shutdown will not be possible.


I didn't receive my refund yet — what should I do?

First, please ensure you are a current annual paid subscriber whose renewal or end date would fall after the shutdown date (31 January 2025).

Free plan users or those who previously held subscriptions will not receive refunds, as they have no current paid subscription, nor will users with monthly subscriptions that will expire between now and the shutdown date as these plans will not renew beyond the shutdown date.

If you are due a refund, please allow up to 2-4 weeks for the refund to be issued. If 4 or more weeks have passed and you have still not received your refund, please contact us at: shutdown@conjure.so
