Time Tracking
Time Tracking in Conjure is based on top of Time Entry measures.
You can quickly create, edit, delete and manage time entries with keyboard shortcuts.
You can use time tracking in combination with habits (through rules) and objectives (through results).
Use with Habits
You can use time tracking in combination with habits, to have time based habits such as:
- Read 10 minutes daily
- Spend at least 30 minutes exercise
- Meditate for 5 minutes
- Don't spend more than 20 minutes on Twitter daily
You can also leverage with habit completion types, for example to have an emergency mode of your "Reading" habit that requires only 1 minute (instead of 10 minutes) on your off days.
Use with Objectives
You can use time tracking in combination with objectives, to have time based objectives such as:
- Read 2 hours this week
- Spend 10 hours on project this week
- Hit 50 hours of reading
- Hit 100 hours on project
You can have a short term range (eg this week or month), or keep it long term (aim for cumulative time spent doing something).
We like time based objectives, because you can't always control the outcome (eg read 20 books in a year), but you can control the process (read 2 hours a week).
